Jones' demands to be paid "f**k you money" initially put the bout in jeopardy but the MMA legend came to terms with the UFC brass last month.
And UFC insider and former title challenger Chael Sonnen has claimed the eagerly-anticipated dust-up has been finalised.
During a recent episode of Good Guy / Bad Guy, he said: “I am confident enough to tell you the fight is done.
"That fight is agreed all the way down to the date. Jon Jones did NOT duck this fight.

"Not done enough to sit right here now and announce it and give you a date. "But the fight’s going to happen.
"It’s just a matter of getting it signed now.

Former long-reigning light-heavyweight king Jones hasn't set foot inside the cage since his brutal spinning-back kick KO of Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 last November.
Aspinall, meanwhile, was last in action last July at UFC 304 in Manchester, where he decimated Curtis Blaydes in 60 seconds to avenge his 2022 loss to the American.
