We'll admit we had our doubts that the Love Island: All Stars cast would actually give all stars, but then Hannah Elizabeth – the absolute icon from 2015's season one – was announced, and we suddenly couldn't contain our excitement.
A lot of people may have slept on ITV2's first rebooted series of the previously celebrity-studded format, with Love Island not really reaching the dizzying heights of its own success until season two or three. But for those of us that have been around since the beginning, there's a lot that happened pre-Malin and Terry.
Let us fill you in on exactly who Hannah Elizabeth is, and why she's undoubtedly up there with the best Love Island contestants to grace that sun-soaked villa (and not just because of her impeccable collection of bikinis).
Who is Love Island's Hannah Elizabeth?
The Liverpool-born reality star became a firm fan-favourite during her time on the original line-up of the 2015 series.
She appeared on the show alongside Jess Hayes (who eventually went on to win while in a couple with Max Morley), Joshua Ritchie (who has since appeared on Celebs Go Dating) and Luis Morrison (also now confirmed to be making a return on the new All Stars spin-off).
When Hannah Elizabeth was first announced for the dating show back in 2015, she was described as a Playboy Bunny and model. She'd also had a brush with reality TV fame before, having appeared on The Only Way Is Essex through her job as a Sugar Hut Honey.
"There was just 12 of us and we were just getting paid to party, really," she said about her time in the famous hotspot. "They said we were hostesses but we were just partying in orange dresses. I had an absolute ball doing that and that's when I just fell in love with Essex and moved down there."
Hannah Elizabeth was 25 when she first entered the villa. At the time she described herself as "wild" on a night out, revealing that she would "attract the wrong people all the time" – "just co*cky, arrogant, and that's my idea of hell," she said.
Who was Hannah Elizabeth coupled up with in Love Island season one?
Hannah met Jon Clark in the first few days in the villa, and the pair were pretty much inseparable throughout the show's run – making it all the way to the final.
Despite some pretty loud rows (well, it is Love Island) Jon famously told her that she made him feel like a rainbow, and he even got down on one knee and proposed to her during the final Commitment Ceremony (but not before asking her dad for permission in a call from the Beach Hut).
Jon described his time with Hannah as "the perfect fairytale" while on the show, but they didn't quite win over the nation as they just narrowly missed out on being the most popular couple.
The pair's relationship outlasted that of winners Jess and Max, but Hannah and Jon still confirmed their break-up later that year.
Hannah Elizabeth now: What happened after Love Island?
Hannah Elizabeth became something of an influencer after her stint on the show, sharing outfit photos and beauty shots on her Instagram page.
Hannah returned to television in 2020 as part of Love Island: What Happened Next – a reunion show that caught up with some of the show's most popular former Islanders. During her appearance, she and Jon opened up about the breakdown of their relationship after the show.
Hannah also welcomed a son in 2019 with her former fiancé George Andreetti, although the pair split shortly after.
Hannah Elizabeth on Love Island: All Stars
Hannah is clearly currently single and ready to mingle, as ITV has just confirmed her as part of the cast for Love Island: All Stars.
Revealing why she's chosen to return to the show all these years later, Hannah explained: "I did it eight years ago and what an opportunity I never thought I'd get again. I'm not very good at finding love but I had a ball the first time, so I'm going to have a ball again."
She also described the villa as "a great place to find love", pointing to the fact that it "takes you out of your comfort zone."
"I'm looking forward to meeting people that I might not necessarily meet day to day," she added.
We can't wait to see her on our screens again.
Love Island All Stars premieres on Monday, January 15 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, STV and ITVX.
