Best Bleach film. Wastes no time getting into things, has a cool villain, fantastic visuals, and awesome fight sequences.
I may like Bleachmore than I let on in earlier reviews. In fact, I love it.
Back in the Stone Age when Hulu was strictly a free service, I remember middle school summer nights when I would hook up our family computer to our huge projection TV via an S-video cable I found in our garage. I would binge all of the Bleach episodes available at the time.
As corny as this next part is, I wasn’t exactly the most popular of kids growing up and was pretty relentlessly bullied. Coming home crying and all. Seeing Ichigo, an unassuming high schooler,…

When I watched Fade to Black last night, I doubted anything could reach the greatness that film did. I was definitely right, but Hell Verse is still really good.
The biggest plus about the film is the animation. The best in any of the Bleach movies, and some of the best action animation I have seen ever, and the film is ten years old. From the very start I was super excited because of how fast the film gets moving, and I was pleasantly greeted with a film that keeps that pacing going throughout most of its runtime. There is a bit of lull right before the third act, bit besides that little hiccup the film has…

Most of the Bleach movies range from "okay" to "serviceable", so its nice to see shounenshit that goes all the way out from concept, animation and action, powerful deities beating the bazoom out of each other for 90 minutes while traversing through DUUUUUDEEE WHAT IF HELL WAS ALL WEIRD AND STUFF? Surreal landscapes, endless seas, sulfur pits, fields of ash, lava and trees made out of bones hosting some truly impressive scenes of high-wire combat, demonic transformations and characters screaming each others names. Guess what, the shit you thought was cool as a 13 year old still is, especially when you rip out the ironic detachment chrods that were wired inside your brain as an adult.

SPOILERS. SPOILER ALERT.
“ The forces of hell didn’t empower me to exact revenge…they wanted me to stop you. Do you see it now?! Hell itself is asking for my help. It’s willing to lend power to an outsider like myself. Just to prevent you from escaping! That’s right…in the end I’m just another human being, just like yourself. This is your punishment for the sins you committed while trying to escape from hell. KOKUTO! YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY REPENTING FOR YOUR EVIL DEEDS!” - Ichigo Kurosaki
Alright so. In my personal preference, this is the best of the Bleach Films and one of the best Anime films that I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I fucking love this… -

i don't care how much it makes me a frickin weeb, but this is my new favorite movie. i LOVED it. the beginning... i'm gonna do my best to re-forget that first bit cus it always bring tears to my eyes, but the rest was frickin awesome. i missed those nerds (that includes you too byakuya) and the action sequences were amazing. so well done. i had fun watching this and i'm hoping that one new "weird" outfit is in the game brave souls.

god im a sucker for anything bleach
So this was playing at the theater i go to because of the tenth anniversary and i thought because Thousand-Year Blood War was coming out soon it would be great to get some bleach in my system.
It was a great movie, even better for the big screen. It showed the prologue episode before so that was really cool.
The twist though was kind of predictable, i saw it coming like a good 40 minutes in, but it was still really good.
i cannot wait for thousand year now!!

Okay, irrespective of the movie itself, I can at least say that this begins with- bar none- the single most beautifully animated fight scene in the entire series. I harp on this show’s often engorged, mind-numbingly long fights often, but it still does contain some of the best brawls in shonen, so that’s not nothing. If nothing else, this is worth viewing for it alone.
This was, basically, exactly what I wanted from a Bleach movie- in that I think this is thoroughly disposable and of little actual consequence, but still manages to be fun! The pacing isn’t a Merry-Go-Round of monotonous bullshit like the last one, the animation is *fantastic* both in the fight scenes and the ordinary dialogue…

They really did my girl Rukia dirty in this one.
Still decently exciting though. My hype for Bleach’s triumphant return in October only increases.
